Registration for dog or cat

Do not use this page for renewing an existing registration. If your animal has previously been registered with Council you can re-register online using your pets registration number (found on the renewal letter) Click here to re-register your pet.

Please note registering a third dog or cat will require an application for more than two dog/cat permit. Click here to apply.

To proceed with your registration please ensure you have a digital copy of the relevant documents and certificates such as proof of micro chipping and desexing (if applicable)

New dog registration

Declared Dogs (Restricted breed, Dangerous & Menacing) are unable to be processed online. Please contact customer service on 02 6022 9300 for more information.

To register your dog, first please make sure:

that you have a valid permit if you have more than 2 dogs

your dog is micro-chipped and you have record of the microchip number

Certificate of sterilisation is required if applying for the reduced fee for a desexed dog

proof that you are a registered breeder (if applicable)

you are over 18 years old, we cannot allow minors to register pets

New cat registration

It is mandatory that all cats in the Wodonga municipality are de-sexed (unless a registered breeder)

To register your cat, first please make sure:

that you have a valid permit if you have more than 2 cats

your cat is micro-chipped and you have record of the microchip number

you have a copy of the certificate of sterilisation

proof that you are a registered breeder (if applicable)

you are over 18 years old, we cannot allow minors to register pets
